Lorrie is a Senior HR Business Advisor with Strategic HR. She has used her strengths in building relationships, project management, problem solving, and communication to provide talent management to a variety of organizations in government and service-based industries.
Lorrie began her HR career with a small start-up computer repair company over twenty years ago and has had the pleasure of contributing to and leading teams in all areas of HR, including serving as the HR Director for STRS Ohio. She enjoys the wide variety of areas that HR delves into, which have led her to develop expertise in employee relations, compensation, benefits, wellness, recruiting, and technology. She says the most important and enjoyable part of HR is working with the people and developing solid relationships and programs that motivate individuals, energize teams, and drive organizational success.
Lorrie is based in the Columbus, Ohio area. She holds a Master of Science Degree from the University of Dayton in Counseling and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Otterbein University.
Lorrie and her husband have two teenage daughters and live in Delaware, Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, working out, socializing with friends anywhere there is an outdoor patio, and DIY home projects.
