Lorrie is a Senior HR Business Advisor with Clark Schaefer Strategic HR. Leveraging her strengths in cultivating relationships, optimizing project management, navigating complex problems, and implementing effective communication strategies, she has provided talent management solutions across various organizations in the government and service sectors.

Lorrie began her HR career with a small start-up computer repair company over twenty years ago. Since then, she has had the pleasure of contributing to and leading teams in all areas of HR, including serving as the HR Director for STRS Ohio and HR Manager for the Ohio Secretary of State’s office. Her passion for the multifaceted nature of HR has culminated in a broad array of HR expertise in employee relations, compensation planning, benefits and wellness programs, recruitment processes, and HR technology. To her, the most important and enjoyable components of HR involve nurturing robust relationships and developing programs that motivate individuals, invigorate teams, and drive organizational success.

Lorrie is based in the Columbus, Ohio area. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Otterbein University. She also attained her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).

Lorrie and her husband have two teenage daughters and live in Delaware, Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, working out, socializing with friends anywhere there is an outdoor patio, and DIY home projects.
