With over 35 years of experience in all areas of HR in the banking, retail, and healthcare industries, her proven success in improving operations, problem-solving, and building lasting relationships with key decision-makers and team members consistently results in achieving and exceeding company goals.
With a versatile HR Generalist background, Sheryl has done it all — whether it’s running a one-person HR department or working with teams across large, multi-location companies. Her specialties? Employee relations, training and development, and championing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) initiatives. Sheryl’s expertise and thoughtful approach help her connect with employees at every level, fostering teamwork and creating a positive workplace culture.
Sheryl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Journalism from Miami University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. She’s proudly SHRM-SCP certified and previously earned her SPHR certification, proving her commitment to HR excellence.
Beyond work, Sheryl is the proud mom of two adult sons and loves to unwind by crocheting, knitting, crafting, and actively leading in her sorority.
