Julie is a Senior HR Business Strategist with Clark Schaefer Strategic HR. She helps clients to tackle projects of all sizes and achieve their goals by cultivating relationships, listening, and designing HR solutions that align directly with their needs. As a future-focused, big-picture thinker who is also adept at managing the details, Julie specializes in connecting clients to the right HR-centered services, tools, and technologies to help develop, strengthen, and/or grow the HR function in their organizations.
Julie has 20 years of experience working as an internal HR Leader as well as an external HR consultant helping clients to solve their organizational challenges. She has led cross-functional people initiatives with Fortune 500 organizations, non-profits, small to mid-size organizations, and start-ups representing Higher Education, Contact Centers, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Financial Services, and Manufacturing industries.
Following her passion for helping leaders to be more successful at growing and nurturing their talent, Julie has specialized in the creation and implementation of recruitment processes, behavioral assessments, and learning and development solutions.
Julie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership from Miami University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Xavier University. She attained her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and her Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP). Julie is a past-President of CincySHRM and has served in leadership roles across other non-profits over the years.
Personally, Julie and her husband are busy raising 2 boys. In her spare time, she can be found reading, breaking a sweat at Orangetheory Fitness, or cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals.
