Effective May 1, 2021, Strategic HR, a leader in the HR industry and based in Cincinnati, OH, has joined Clark Schaefer Hackett, a Top 100 Business Advisory firm with offices throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan. In response to the changing market impacted by the pandemic, Clark Schaefer Hackett and Strategic HR are proud to join together their unique and customized services to better serve and support their clients.

Strategic HR, led by President Robin Throckmorton, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, was founded in 1995. The company provides dedicated HR support to organizations that don’t have an HR department, or have a small HR function with overflowing needs.

“We are excited about the dynamic future of Strategic HR and CSH.” says Throckmorton. “When I started this company, I wanted to connect with and support HR professionals and business owners by drawing on my industry experience. I love working with my clients to design custom solutions, and CSH does identical work as a business advisor. Together, we will be able to provide more services and educational opportunities to our clients, and more experiences for our talented associates.”

Strategic HR, with offices in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Louisville, has received extensive recognition. The company was named a Best Places to Work Finalist from 2015 – 2020, listed in the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America in both 2017 and 2019, awarded the Woman Owned Business of the Year in 2019 from the Clermont County Chamber, named as an Ohio Success Awards Winner in 2020, and has received numerous other honors.

Strategic HR is not alone in its success. After 80 years of business, Clark Schaefer Hackett continues to build on its achievements and innovation, bettering the lives of their clients, their associates, and their community. Bundling outsourced accounting and HR solutions to provide a compelling managed services package to clients is a key part of CSH’s strategy.

“The addition of the talented team from Strategic HR enhances our ability to provide high-quality human resources, training and recruiting services to clients,” says Kerry Roe, CSH President. “The pairing of managed services in both accounting and human resources also will provide a compelling comprehensive solution for small and medium-sized organizations that wish to focus on growing their business while receiving exceptional business support.”
