At Clark Schaefer Strategic HR, one of our core values is to positively impact our community by helping those in need. We do this in many ways by supporting different types of organizations through individual involvement and through team support.

We are proud to have a service-focused team at Clark Schaefer Strategic HR.

Many of our employees volunteer their time to lead and support all types of organizations ranging from youth services, sports organizations, school PTA/PTO, arts/theater organizations, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, animal shelters, church groups, and other non-profits.

We offer flexible scheduling and VTO to allow our employees the time they need to make these meaningful contributions to their communities.

Sharing Our HR Expertise

Recognizing that we have a wide array of skills and human resources expertise, our team members also volunteer as keynote speakers, committee and board members, and program facilitators. We believe this is an important component of our corporate social responsibility.

We have shared our human resources expertise with various types of organizations ranging from nonprofit, educational, and job search related organizations to HR, business, and professional associations, including:

Ohio Society for Human Resource Management (Ohio SHRM)
Multiple Chambers of Commerce, including Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, Clermont Chamber, and Northern Kentucky Chamber

Serving as a Team

We love volunteering our time as a team!

We believe that our team’s corporate social responsibility to give back to our broader community is so important that we plan a minimum of three (often it’s more!) community outreach team building events and donation drives each year.

Not only does this give us a chance to make a positive difference in our community, but it also brings us closer together as a team when we do it! Check out a couple of events below.

Feed the Funnel – Volunteering With Our Clients

For one community outreach event, we partnered with The Pack Shack and Matthew 25 Ministries with the goal of feeding several thousand local families. This community outreach event, known as Feed the Funnel, was simply too amazing to limit to just our Strategic HR team, so we invited our clients to join us! You need a large venue to host this type of event, so we hosted our Feed the Funnel at March First Brewing and Distilling.

Our Feed the Funnel event allowed us to:

Support local families in need in a substantial way – our team of 75 volunteers packed 14,656 meals!

Strengthen the bonds within our team

Build connections with our clients outside of work doing something both meaningful and fun

Ronald McDonald House – Taste of Hope

Our team thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to volunteer at the Greater Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House. Through their Taste of Hope program, we help to prepare dinner for the families who are staying there. Preparing and serving a nutritious meal to these families and allowing the parents more time to focus on their critically ill children is an experience that deeply touches our hearts.
