Gilbert is an HR Coordinator with Strategic HR Business Advisors. Discipline and determination have always been the driving forces behind his constant quest to help clients achieve their desired results. Having grown up in Africa, Europe, and America, he has cultivated a passion for diversity and inclusion which he enjoys sharing with others. Led by his desire to broaden his horizons and a commitment to life-long learning, he readily subscribes to Helen Keller’s words, “Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.”
Gilbert has worked in various industries around the world including manufacturing, shipping and logistics, consular services, and non-profits. Coupled with a passion to help others, he has acquired knowledge in all aspects of human resources including recruiting, compliance and employment law, compensation, benefits, and more. He is also knowledgeable in management and business development strategies to help companies expand in the ever-changing global market. Gilbert is a firm believer in “fine-tuning an entire process.” For example, recruiting the right candidates must be coupled with implementing the best retention strategies to ensure optimal productivity and results.
Gilbert has a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Psychology from the University of Ghana. He also attained a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resources from the University of Cincinnati.
Outside of work, Gilbert enjoys traveling the world, playing and watching soccer, cooking, and singing.
