Angela Dunaway is a Senior Human Resources Consultant, leader and change agent.  Her background includes 20 years in both corporate leadership and HR consulting roles providing services on a broad range of issues such as comprehensive compensation, departmental transformation, succession planning, and behavioral coaching.  Her industry experience covers clients in aerospace & defense, energy, healthcare, technology, retail, manufacturing, engineering and more. In addition to consulting, Angela has a wealth of experience in corporate-level human resources leadership positions. Her goal in the HR arena has been to serve as trusted advisor with an emphasis on non-wavering integrity and an aversion to the “old school personnel” style of leadership.

With a penchant for excellence, strong listening skills and a heartfelt desire to put the client first, Angela has partnered with client companies to tackle HR issues in areas like comprehensive compensation, employment law compliance and risk avoidance, leadership training, career path/succession planning, performance management, talent management, policy and employee handbook development. One of Angela’s specialties is HR departmental strategy and transformation.

Angela holds earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management (4.0 GPA).  She has maintained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the Human Resource Certification Institute since 2003 and the Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management since 2015.

Angela is fervent about giving back to the community. She’s served as Board President for the Society for Human Resources Management chapters in both Owensboro, KY and Huntsville, AL. She also served on boards for the Boulware Homeless Mission (Personnel Committee) and the i3 Cares Foundation. In addition, she has volunteered with the NWA Network for Executive Woman, The Care Center, Women in Networking, Junior Achievement, The Manna House, and the Key Point Church Baton Rouge Flood Relief Team.

Angela and her husband Mark reside in Louisville, KY. Their children include Jonathon (Lexington, KY) and Kristen (Washington, DC). Outside work, Angela loves many forms of art, music, reading, travel, the KY Wildcats and any sunny day at the beach.
