Join the Leadership Council of Nonprofits and Clark Schaefer Strategic HR for our Quarterly HR Forum featuring Sammie Kelly as she explores: Designing Nonprofit Workplaces Where Neurodivergent Talent Can Thrive.
In this session, HR leaders and practitioners will learn the basics of neurodiversity, including common language, diagnoses and conditions, and experiences of the neurodivergent professional. From there, we’ll discuss potential barriers the traditional recruitment process might present for neurodivergent applicants and ways to mitigate them. Finally, we’ll wrap up with ways to retain these talented individuals, including accessible accommodations.
