Nancy invites her audience through a fascinating journey of growing up with dyslexia and ADHD, the challenges she faced within the corporate world and how she unlocked her brain to celebrate the natural gifts she was given. She shares a positive perspective on neurodiversity, revealing actionable strategies employers can adopt to enhance the workplace experience for their neurodiverse employees. By the end of the luncheon, she promises that we’ll all 1) Gain a better understanding of Neurodiversity and how it presents in the workplace, 2) Understand common workplace challenges & strengths tied to Neurodiversity and 3) Learn how to embrace and support neurodivergent colleagues within your company.
About the Speaker
Nancy Disbrow: As a former HR Executive with dyslexia and ADHD, Nancy has found ways to be successful in the workplace using her “different brain” as a gift. Early in her career, she felt like her brain was working against her, despite consistently outworking her peers. Once she uncovered her natural gifts and changed a few things about how she was working, everything changed. Now she shares her experiences and expertise to help organizations celebrate different ways of thinking through positive, inclusive, and supportive methods within the workplace.
