These past few years have really turned “normal” upside down. With teams working in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid setting, it can be difficult to engage employees while they adjust to what our new “normal” looks like.

According to Gallup, the US has held steady with 36% of employees engaged in 2021. We are going to have to find new ways to engage employees when many of them prefer to work remotely some or all of the time. We’ve got our work cut out for us to maintain our engagement with hopes of continuing to improve it.

During this highly interactive session, strategic HR’s Robin Throckmorton, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP and Cathleen Snyder, SPHR, SHRM-SCP will take us through a touch on reality, and collectively we’ll put together some strategies and solutions to help us continue to engage workers in our new normal.

Cathleen has over 20 years’ HR consulting experience providing human resources support for companies ranging from 5 to 500+ employees in industries such as warehousing, manufacturing, healthcare, customer service, technology, insurance, and retail. She has advised clients on the day-to-day aspects of HR including complaint investigations, recruiting and selection, employee performance management, creating policy and procedures, and government compliance.
