Robin Throckmorton

Robin is the President and Founder of strategic HR inc. where she brings nearly 30 years of human resources experience in healthcare, manufacturing, service, and non-profit organizations creating solutions to help them recruit, retain, and develop the best and the brightest employees. Robin provides a wide range of outsourced HR support in the areas of Strategy, Recruitment, Training & Development, Benefits & Compensation, Communications, Employee Relations, Recordkeeping & Legal Compliance, and Health, Safety & Security.

As a business owner and experienced human resources professional herself, Robin has a deep understanding and empathy for the challenges that business owners and HR professionals face. She is able to leverage her unique experience to connect with and customize the best solutions for clients.

Melissa Kircher is Superintendent of Bethal -Tate school district. This summer, Kircher is back in an empty building, busily wrapping up her 11 years in the New Miami Local School District, the last four as superintendent, before moving on to the Bethel-Tate district in Clermont County.

Prior to becoming an educator, however, she flirted with the idea of being a lawyer.

She wasn’t even 21 when she graduated from Hanover College. Feeling she was too young to begin pursuing a career, she decided to go into law school. But after a year, she felt the pull toward education.

“I thought, do I really want to deal with people’s problems after the fact, or do I want to work with kids to keep them from having those kinds of problems? Because there’s a point where there’s no fixing the problem other than litigation,” she said, “(education) really is a great career if you like children.”

She spent nine years in the Kings Local School District, teaching various elementary grades, ending her tenure there as a curriculum consultant before going to work at the Warren County office, and from there landed in New Miami as an elementary principal, to help turn around a district in academic emergency.

Jeffrey Bauer is Dean of the University of Cincinnati – Clermont and Professor of Management and Marketing.  Dr. Bauer’s experience includes more than 10 years in industry and 25 years in academe. The University of Cincinnati – Clermont serves over 3,000 students in 60 academic programs on a beautiful wooded 90 acre campus.  The college employs 160 full-time faculty and staff and 250 adjunct faculty with an annual operating budget of approximately $26M.

Lisa Johnson is a Senior Recruiting Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Consultant with strategic HR.  She has a passion for helping clients in any way that she can, and she finds it rewarding to be an integral part of the entire recruitment and HR process.

Lisa has 15 years of experience delivering HR and recruiting excellence in the workplace tackling everything from FMLA and payroll administration, to finding the best-fit candidate for organizational success and creating strong client relationships. She has a wide range of recruiting experience in the areas of sales, healthcare, customer service, and a little of everything in between, which makes her a valuable recruiting partner.

Lisa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, and she is an AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR).

Ric Welker is Vice President and General Manager at RJ Cinema Distillery Taproom. Ric is developing a line of locally-sourced craft distilled spirits, testing and refining new products within a high traffic first run movie theater, and thereby shortening the time to market and scale, RJ Cinema and RJ Distillery create a fresh approach to the business model within the spirits industry.

Experienced sales director, driven by success and innovation, passionate about strategic planning, creative problem solving, and inspiring sales teams to new levels of success. His mission is to drive sales at profitable levels. A client-centric focus results in dramatic sales increases, increased client engagement and retention. My teams exceed goals and have an 80%+ client retention in part because we make it easy to buy from us. Mobile-first systems that support the selling process, provide accurate information, and create a seamless workflow makes work more enjoyable. My teams have a staff tenure of 10+ years.
